Athletes Beyond Borders
Unlock new opportunities and embrace the global stage.
Comprehensive solutions for global athletic success, for athletes, coaches, sports organizations and agents.
Playing abroad
Talent opens the door. Adaptability keeps it open.
Leagues in Europe, Asia and South America are a growing path for athletes who want a professional career abroad. But a new country also means a new language, a new coach, new team codes and a new daily life.
Success abroad takes more than athletic ability. It takes adaptability, cultural awareness and communication skills. That is exactly what we help athletes and teams build.
Real situations
Talent is rarely the problem. Paperwork, grades and rules often are.
These situations come from athletes we have accompanied. Every year, talented players lose a season, a scholarship or a place on the roster for reasons that have nothing to do with the game.
Recruited, then not eligible
Coaches were interested and the level was there. But the academic record didn't meet NCAA requirements, and the opportunity closed before it really opened.
The lesson: check the academic side first, long before the first call with a coach.
Cleared by the NCAA, refused by the university
The NCAA Eligibility Center gave the green light. The university's admissions office said no: not enough recognised credits. Two different gates, and the same deadline.
The lesson: athletic eligibility and academic admission are two separate files.
A school system that doesn't translate
European diplomas, exam-based systems or a late graduation don't map cleanly onto NCAA certification. Courses taken after the expected graduation date generally don't count.
The lesson: plan the academic path backwards, from the target season.
The rules changed along the way
Eligibility rules evolve from one season to the next. What was true for last year's recruits may no longer apply to yours.
The lesson: verify every rule for the exact season you are aiming for.
The athlete owns the decision. We own the process.
For colleges and clubs, that means pre-vetted athletes, accurate eligibility groundwork and organised documentation.

From problem to solution
What you actually get
Four situations every coach has seen, and the concrete tool we use for each one.
“He nods in every meeting… and still hasn't understood the system.”
Player profile for the coaching staff
Before the player arrives, a one-page brief on how he is used to receiving feedback, how he shows doubt, what motivates him and what to watch for in the first weeks. Then a 30-minute call with the staff to go through it.
You get: One brief per player · one call with your staff
“Homesick by October, talking about going home at Christmas.”
Arrival & first-90-days follow-up
Two preparation calls before departure, then a video check-in every two weeks for the first three months, in the player's own language. The family knows who to call.
You get: A contact person in the player's language · early warning to staff, with the player's agreement
“Too direct for the locker room, or not direct enough.”
Team integration workshop
A half-day on site: first with the international players, then with coaches and staff, then everyone together to agree on how the team communicates.
You get: Shared team communication rules · a written summary afterwards
“Cleared by the NCAA, refused by admissions.”
Academic file & timeline check
We organise the academic file with the family early, flag missing credits or documents, and build the calendar of deadlines for both the NCAA and the school. Official decisions stay with the NCAA and the school.
You get: A written timeline and document checklist
Start small
One player's follow-up or a single workshop. No annual commitment: you judge the work first.
